Terms of Service

1. Account
You are responsible for the activity on your ChessIQ account, the accuracy of any chess accounts you link, and keeping your credentials secure. Notify us at support@chessiq.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Premium subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings -> Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds for unused time.
3. Refunds
Refunds are issued at our discretion within 14 days of charge for users who have not made meaningful use of Premium features during that period. Contact support@chessiq.io for refund requests.
4. Acceptable use
Don't scrape, abuse, or interfere with the service, attempt to break authentication or rate limits, or use ChessIQ to redistribute Chess.com or Lichess data outside their respective terms.
5. Third-party data
ChessIQ analyzes games imported from Chess.com and Lichess. Their respective terms apply to that data. Stockfish is used under the GPL.
6. Disclaimer
ChessIQ is provided as-is, without warranty. We do not guarantee specific rating improvements, uptime, or analysis accuracy.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
